The British Co-Ed High School, founded in 2003 , is a progressive, child-centred day school with strong emphasis on the holistic development of the student. At this school, the individuals' needs are taken into consideration and a qualititative approach is preferred.

The school is affiliated to the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (ICSE) and Indian School Certificate Examination (ISC).
The main building can accommodate about 900 students within the age group - 11-18 years. Block 2, recently constructed , can accommodate about 600 students in the age group - 9-11.
BCEHS is a school where academic excellence is paralleled by the commitment to develop the personality, talents and abilities of all its students. The school ensures that there are equal opportunities for every child to optimise his or her potential to build their self-esteem and sense of community. Personal and social development is as important as academic achievement.

Exam results are excellent and the school enjoys exceptional success in many other areas such as art, music, drama, debating, sports and quizzes at a national level.
Adding an international dimension to the school curriculum.

Ever since our involvement with partner schools under the UKIERI (UNITED KINGDOM & INDIA EDUCATIONAL RESEARCH INITIATIVE), it has become an important part of our curriculum to work on a global level sharing ideas and work with partners from different countries.

In order:
  • To add value to learning by sharing information with schools around the world and incorporating the key concepts of global citizenship.

  • To give students an opportunity to connect with the world.

  • To build knowledge and understanding while developing skills and attitudes, thus preparing students for life.

  • To share knowledge with others
