Virtual Science Exhibition
The Science Exhibition is a great opportunity for aspiring scientists to showcase their innovation skills. It is a platform where students can learn from each other’s experiences and get motivated to design and develop something novel. Science exhibitions not only challenge students’ creativity but also aim to improve their presentation skills.
Our school organized the second ever “Virtual Science Exhibition” this year. The objective of this exhibition was not only to motivate students to apply theory while conducting experiments but also to instill in them a scientific attitude and make them realize the inter-dependence of science, technology and society in our everyday life.
To prevent the spread of COVID-19, all projects were to be made out of materials available at home – Best out of Waste. Despite this being a challenging task, it did not deter students from coming up with something innovative. Students from classes V to XII actively participated in this event and made fabulous models, both working and static and, once again, amazed their teachers with their ingenious models.
It is for certain that science, today, is indispensable for human survival. In fact, science is the reason we have finally started finding ourselves safe from the clutches of COVID-19. Hence, it is important for the young generation to learn science and perform experiments. And science exhibitions are an excellent way to inculcate in them an everlasting hunger to find out about new methods and discoveries in science.
