S. Amar Singh Kamboj Memorial Inter-School English Debate (2025-26)

The school organised the 19th Annual S. Amar Singh Kamboj Memorial Inter-School Debate on 1st November 2025, with Dr. Gurleen Ahluwalia, Dr. Rouble Brar and Prof. Jaspreet Kaur Kamboj  as esteemed judges.
Nigamjot Kaur (IX PB) and Tavleen Kaur (X SHS) represented BCEHS in the competition. The topic for the debate was “Subsidies are a band-aid not a cure.” The participants showcased their extensive knowledge, delivering fiery arguments that captivated the audience and earned high praise from the judges. The team from Holy Angels School, Rajpura emerged as the winners.
The judges appreciated the speakers for their insightful perspectives and confident delivery.

Annual Academic Prize Giving (2025-26)

The school celebrated its 21st Annual Academic Prize-Giving Ceremony, presided over by our Executive Principal, Ma’am Rosa, who graciously honoured the occasion with her presence. Students were recognised for their exceptional accomplishments in both Academics and Co-Curricular pursuits and the School Report for the 2024–25 session was presented by the student representatives.
The ceremony concluded with a vibrant cultural showcase featuring orchestral music, soulful songs and spirited performances of Bhangra and Giddha, adding a festive flourish to an inspiring evening.

House Nights (Block A) (2025-26)

The school hosted its highly anticipated House Nights for the 2025–26 session on 28th and 29th October. Students from Tolstoy, Tagore and Teresa Houses came together to present an impressive display of talent, creativity and teamwork.
The evenings unfolded with captivating theatre, insightful English, Hindi and Punjabi productions and dynamic dance performances from India and across the world. Rich musical offerings, ranging from harmonious choir pieces to graceful orchestral arrangements added depth and elegance to the celebrations.
The event concluded to resounding applause, celebrating the dedication, passion and collective spirit of every participant.

USA Trip (2025-26)

This June, our school took us on a memorable trip to the United States.
At Disney World and Universal Studios, we thrilled on rides and met childhood characters. The Kennedy Space Center amazed us with the Saturn V rocket and Atlantis Shuttle.
New York dazzled with Times Square, Madame Tussauds and landmarks like the Statue of Liberty and Empire State Building. Niagara Falls stole our hearts with the breathtaking Maid of the Mist ride, while Boston inspired us at Harvard and MIT—sparking dreams of studying abroad.
It was more than a trip; it was a journey of wonder, learning and inspiration.
~ Ridhiman Pannu (XI DKB)

Oxford MUN and Welmun (2025-26)

Our students had the privilege of attending two MUNs: WELMUN at Welham Boys’ School, Dehradun (30th July–1st August) and the Oxford MUN and Harvard Sustainability Impact Summit at Flame University, Pune (3rd–6th August). These conferences provided them with the opportunity to engage in debates, diplomacy and cultural exchange. At WELMUN, our delegates developed their public speaking, research and leadership skills. At Oxford MUN, they participated in committee sessions, power talks, cultural evenings and the Mega Mind Power Drill. These experiences broadened the students’ global outlook and inspired them to make a positive impact on the world.

Scouts and Guides Camp (2025-26)

Our school hosted its very first Scouts and Guides Camp for students from Class 5 to 12-a thrilling three-day journey of learning, adventure and growth. From flag-unfurling to first aid training, help and rescue in disaster management and lessons on Scouts and Guides, every moment was full of energy and purpose. The camp nurtured teamwork, leadership and problem-solving while instilling service, confidence and responsibility. It was truly an unforgettable experience that shaped us into stronger and more compassionate individuals.

Vivek High School MUN (2025-26)

The VHS MUN, held at Vivek High School, Chandigarh from April 10–15, was a transformative four-day event that empowered students to engage with real-world issues and sharpen their communication, leadership, and diplomatic skills. A standout moment was an inspiring address by Colonel Sandeep Singh Sahi on global affairs. We’re proud to share that Rahini Kalra, Ranjot Singh Billing, and Otto Leonardo Jendrek earned Verbal Mention Awards for their outstanding contributions. Events like this show that education is about more than textbooks—it shapes character and broadens horizons.
~ Ekasnoor Kaur (XII SKM) and Rahini Kalra (IX SM)

Emerald Heights MUN (2025-26)

“Some experiences don’t just teach you—they transform you.”

Attending EHMUN’25 from 27th to 30th April was one such experience—exciting, enriching, and unforgettable. As a national-level MUN, it brought together students from across the country to debate, bond, and grow.
The warm hospitality and vibrant ambience made us feel at home. A highlight was the surprise night crisis, testing our quick thinking and teamwork under pressure.
A proud moment came when Ridhiman Mehta (Class XII) won Best Parliamentarian in the Lok Sabha, standing out among 55 participants.
Beyond MUN skills, we walked away with confidence, exposure, and friendships to cherish.
~ Ridhiman Mehta (XII MIK) and Ribhav Gupta (X HJK)

House Nights - Block B (2025-26)

The three-day Inter-House Cultural Extravaganza from 17th to 19th May 2025 was a vibrant celebration.
The event served as a platform for students to exhibit their talents and skills through traditional and western dance performances, along with presentations of classic fairy tale dramas Alice in Wonderland, Winnie the Pooh, and Peter Pan. Equally outstanding were the Punjabi drama and Hindi drama, which shed light on important contemporary challenges.
